If you are feeling brave, and you don’t mind the smell of oil then go ahead and carry out the oiling mentioned in a previous post. If on the other hand you are concerned about getting oil on your clothes then use this method.
I recommend the use of Renapur to condition your leather belt. Renapur Leather balsam contains natural ingredients including beeswax and jojoba oil, and it is pH neutral. It is not smelly, nor is it sticky, and it will not rub off on to your clothes, quite important for a belt!
Use the Renapur Leather Balsam on both sides of your Handmade Leather Belt(the Grain and Flesh sides) and apply the Renapur, using the application sponge, sparingly. Once it has all been absorbed you will notice how much softer the leather has become. Renapur has other advantages to as it helps to waterproof the leather extending its life and protecting it from the hazards of everyday life.
