Custom Dog Tag

August 7, 2017

Sometimes you might just need an additional tag ring on your dog collar. These can be used to attach your dog's ID tag. Having a separate ring can stop you accidentally attaching your lead to the tags split ring and breaking it. At 1/2 inch wide it is perfect for just that job.

A small piece of leather is thinned down and stitched by hand to the back of your dog's collar. Although it is not meant to hold your dog it probably would!

Fancy Leather Dog Collar

August 5, 2017
This is a different collar design for me. Rather than having leather keeper loops the fancy collar uses a solid brass fancy loop to keep the point under control.
A reverse turn keeps the Dee ring, buckle, and loop away from your dog leaving a smoother interior with fewer disturbances making for a more comfortable design for your dog.
A West End roller buckle eases buckling with plenty of room for the leather. When buckled on the middle hole the reverse turn is covered by the leather.

Multi-Length Dog Lead

Multi-Length Dog Lead

Why carry 2 leads for different scenarios when you can carry just the one!
My multi-Length leather dog lead can quickly change from short, to medium, to long with just a simple change of a trigger hook.
Short for heel work, Medium when you need that control but your dog has a bit of free range, and long for allowing your dog their maximum movement. A favourite lead for Police dogs and search dogs.
Full grain London Tan bridle leather, yellow stitching, and solid brass fittin...

Extra-Wide Dog Collar

August 3, 2017

Some big dogs may need a collar that is wider than 1 inch but don't need a a massive buckle to go with it. My extra-wide leather dog collar uses a 1 inch buckle and dee ring that tapers out to a wide back. This means that the part of the collar at the front is narrower which can give the dog more room to move their head down.
London colour Full Grain Leather is used on this collar. The leather is from J&FJ Bakers & Co in Devon, it is Oak barked tanned English Bridle Leather, perfect for your d...

New Shipping

July 19, 2017

I have had a change around with my shipping. I now have 2 options for UK shipping;

Free Delivery with standard crafting time of up to 8 weeks,
and,
Rush Delivery with up to 4 weeks shipping time. I will bump this order up my to-do list and try and make your order quicker.

Obviously this will only work if most people choose the free delivery option. Too many rush orders and I won't be able to keep up! Makes it a bit pointless then and I will have to have a re-think.

Anyway. I will see how it goes.Si

What Collar should I get for my Dog?

July 6, 2017

So you have just got your new furry friend and need to treat them to a new dog collar. Once you start looking around you realise that there are a vast array of dog collars to choose from. From high visibility collars, to rope, chain, to leather. Each of these collars comes with their pros and cons.

Now this may sound strange but for a puppy I would recommend finding a collar with a lot of adjustment that your dog can grow in to. No matter how much you look it up and think how big there a...

Made to measure for the perfect fit in my workshop in Mister-on-Sea, in Great Britain.

Buckle

A solid Brass Swelled West End buckle is used on the Douglas leather belt. This buckle is a traditional buckle design with great looks. Being solid brass means that there is no rust giving years of use without detracting from style.
